Sauteed Kale

These hearty greens are a perfect side dish during the winter months.

Ingredients

  1. 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  2. 1 tbsp olive oil
  3. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  4. 2 sweet onions, sliced
  5. 3 bunches kale, pulled off the stem and chopped into 1 inch pieces
  6. Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat the Egg to 400 F. Place a heavy saucepan on the Egg to preheat.
  2. Once ready, add all the ingredients and saute for 25 mins until the kale is cooked down and the onions have color. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with your favorite protein.
