Hominy Porridge

A popular Jamaican breakfast dish topped with jerk chicken.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup Hominy, canned
  2. 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  3. 1 (15-oz.) can coconut milk
  4. 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  5. 1 cup heavy cream
  6. Freshly grated nutmeg, to garnish

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan over medium low heat and cook, stirring often, until thickened, about 1 hour. Adjust seasoning to your preference. Serve warm with any toppings from sweet to savory.
