Sweet and Savory Peanut Butter Bacon Burgers

These sweet and savory burgers are perfect to spice up any cookout!


  • 1 1/2 pounds ground sirloin
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • 1 small shallot, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Raising the Steaks Seasoning, as desired
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted
  • 4 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 4 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked until crispy
  • white cheddar cheese, as desired
  • mayonnaise, as desired
  • mustard, as desired


  • 1. In a large bowl, gently combine all the the burger ingredients (sirloin through the raising the steaks seasoning.) until well mixed. Form into equally-sized patties that are about an inch or so in thickness.
  • 2. Preheat the EGG to 400º using direct heat and a cast iron grate. Cook burgers for approximately 1- 1 1/2 minutes on the first side, flip and top with the cheese and cook for about 2 more minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  • 3. Remove burgers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes so the juices redistribute.
  • 4. To assemble, top each burger with a tablespoon of peanut butter, mayonnaise, mustard and a slice of bacon and sandwich it between the toasty buns.
