Roasted Vegetables & Sausage Pizza

Nutritional Information

Use any seasonal vegetables and any kind of sausage for this versatile pizza.


  • 4 ounces Smoking Goose Kitchen Sink Sausage
  • 4 ounces Smoking Goose Chorizo Sausage
  • 4 ounces Smoking Goose Duck, Pear & Port Sausage
  • 4 ounces butternut squash, peeled, seeded and sliced into 1/2-inch disks
  • 4 ounces sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into1/2-inch disks
  • 4 ounces fennel, bulb only, sliced into 1/2-inch disks lengthwise
  • 2 ounces Chaumes Cheese
  • 2 ounces Port Salut Cheese
  • 2 ounces Trillium Tulip Tree Cheese
  • 2 ounces goat cheese
  • 2 ounces extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 recipe basic pizza dough


  • 1. Prepare basic pizza dough recipe as directed
  • 2. Preheat EGG to 350 degrees, direct grill all vegetables until fork tender, about 15 - 20 minutes. Remove vegetable from the EGG. Let them cool and cut them into a small dice. Set aside.
  • 3. Place sausages on a greased baking pan and roast on EGG at 375 degrees until the internal temperature of the sausage reaches 165 degrees. Remove sausage from EGG and let cool completely. Remove sausage from the casing and crumble into large pieces. Set aside.
  • 4. Roll out pizza dough as directed.
  • 5. Grill one side of the pizza dough on the EGG at 350 degrees on direct heat, until nice and brown. About 3-5 minutes. Remove dough from EGG and place on a pizza pan or work surface with the cooked side up.
  • 6. With the cooked side up, brush the dough with olive oil. Just enough to give it a nice shine. Spread the crumbled sausage on top, followed by the roasted vegetables.
  • 7. Next, dot the entire pizza with the four different cheeses.
  • 8. Return the pizza to the grill and continue to cook until the cheeses are melted and bubbly and the crust springs back immediately when pressed down. This will take about 15 - 20 minutes.
  • 9. Remove the pizza from the EGG and let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
