Flank steak is a great cut for marinades. Remember to always slice it against the grain.
Ingredients
- β cups soy sauce
- β cups rice wine vinegar
- β cups pure maple syrup
- 8 each garlic cloves, chopped
- 4 lbs. flank steak
Method
- Blend soy sauce, vinegar, syrup, and garlic in a blender until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss steaks with mixture. Marinate for at least one hour, up to 24hrs in the refrigerator.
- Remove steaks from refrigerator and discard marinade. Pat steaks dry.
- Preheat the Egg to 500ΒΊF with cast iron grate for direct heat. Make sure you grate is clean.
- Place steaks in the center of the grate and grill until the desired temperature is achieved. Let rest 5 to 10 minutes.
