Lamb Burgers

Nutritional Information

These burgers are made with lamb and have a greek influence to them.


  • 1 1/2 pounds ground lamb
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 small lemon, zested
  • 1 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • kosher salt and black pepper, as needed
  • 6 brioche buns, see recipe
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup feta, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup kalamata olive, halved
  • 1/2 cup pickled banana peppers
  • 2 small roma tomatoes, small diced
  • 1 tablespoons mint, chiffonade


  • 1. For the topping: Combine all of the ingredients until well blended. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • 2. Gently mix together the lamb, capers, lemon zest, mustard, parsley, salt, and pepper. Form into 6 patties.
  • 3. Preheat the EGG to 400º using direct heat and a cast iron grate. Grill the patties for 2 1/2 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Grill the buns on the cut side until slightly charred and crisp.
  • 4. Assemble burger as desired and serve.
