Honey Chipotle Wings

These wings are the perfect balance of sweet and spicy!


  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • Cluck and Squeal Beef Seasoning, as desired
  • For the Glaze:
  • 3 chipotles in adobo
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • blue cheese dressing, as desired, see recipe
  • peach wood, for smoking


  • 1. Rub the wings with the rub as desired. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • 2. Preheat the EGG to 225º using indirect heat and the smoking wood. Smoke the wings for about 1 1/2 hours or until an internal temperature reaches 165º.
  • 3. Combine all of the ingredients for the glaze. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat. Stir occasionally and keep warm.
  • 4. Convert the EGG to direct and preheat to 400º. Grill the wings for about 2 minutes per side or until the skin begins to crisp.
  • 5. Toss in the glaze and serve with parsley and blue cheese dressing as desired.
