Hoisin Baby Back Ribs

Nutritional Information

These ribs are grilled over direct heat, then baked making them crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks Baby Back ribs, peeled and cut into individual bones
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup malt vinegar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 10 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 3 alapeño peppers, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small white onion, chopped
  • 1 6 ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 28 ounces whole peeled tomatoes, drained
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • Kosher salt, to taste

Directions

  • 1. Place ribs in a 9
  • 2. Preheat the EGG to 425º using direct heat. Remove the ribs from the sauce. Grill the ribs for 4 minutes per side. Convert the EGG to indirect heat and lower the temperature to 375º. Bake the ribs for 40 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving.
