Grilled Potatoes

Nutritional Information

Curry leaves can be found in the refrigerated section of most Asian markets.


  • 1 lb. potatoes
  • 1/4 ea onion
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 lb. fenugreek seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 8 curry leaves
  • 3 ea whole cloves garlic, minced


  • 1. Preheat the Egg to 450ºF with cast iron grate for direct heat. Cut potatoes and onions in half. Rinse potatoes under cold water until water is clear. Mix the next 6 ingredients. Grill potatoes and onions until charred on one side. Next, cut potatoes and onions into 1/2” dice and coat with spices. Place the potatoes, onions, curry leaves, and garlic into a baking pan covered with aluminum foil. Add the pan back to the grill and bake until potatoes are tender. Adjust seasoning and serve.
