Grilled Guacamole

This recipe for guacamole grills the avocados first, giving it a delicious charred flavor.


  • 2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
  • lemon juice, as desired
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1 tomato, seeded and diced
  • salt, as desired
  • Hot pepper sauce, to taste
  • cilantro, as desired


  • 1. Preheat the EGG to 400º using direct heat and a cast iron grate. Grill the avocados until char marks form.
  • 2. Combine all of the other ingredients in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mash the avocado until desired consistency. Add the remaining ingredients and season to taste!
