Corn Shandong Style

Nutritional Information

This Japanese style of corn is a unique way to enjoy one of summers favorite vegetables.


  • 4 ears corn, shucked
  • 1 tablespoon Japanese reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
  • 2 dashes siracha
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil


  • 1. Preheat the EGG to 450º using direct heat and a cast iron grate.  Grill the corn for 2 minutes per side or until it has an even char on all sides.
  • 2. Whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, and chile oil in a medium bowl. Add corn and toss. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with sesame seeds.
