Add hot sauce or other spices, to vary this traditional take on cole slaw.


  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/8 cup sugar, more if desired
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 3/4 pound cabbage, shredded


  • 1. Combine all ingredients until well blended. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
