This recipe is very easy and is great for kids!
Ingredients
- 16 ounces classic pizza dough, see recipe
- 8 each string cheese, halved lengthwise
- butter, as needed
- truffle salt, as desired
Directions
- 1. Divide the dough into 2 ounce balls. Roll the balls into rectangles a little bigger than the length of the cheese. Place the halves of cheese side by side in the middle of each dough.
- 2. Roll the dough up around the cheese and seal the edges to prevent the cheese from leaking out.
- 3. Preheat the EGG to 425º using indirect heat. Brush the sticks with butter and bake for 10 minutes. Rotate the pans and bake for another 10 minutes or until golden.
- 4. Remove from the grill and immediately sprinkle the truffle salt on the tops (if using). Serve immediately.
