Blue Cheese Dressing

Nutritional Information

This recipe calls for Maytag blue cheese, others can be used, but Maytag has the most flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon tobasco sauce
  • 6 ounces sour cream
  • 8 tablespoons mayo
  • 3 ounces buttermilk
  • 12 ounces maytag blue cheese, crumbled

Directions

  • 1. Combine garlic, dry mustard, onion salt and white pepper in mixer. Add red wine vinegar, worcestershire and tabasco. Mix to dissolve dry ingredients and ensure even distribution. Add sour cream, mayo and buttermilk and mix until thoroughly combined. Add blue cheese pieces and fold in by hand using spatula. Let refrigerate for a few hours before serving for the best flavor.
