BBQ Deep Dish Pizza

This crusty and chewy pizza is great for any party.


  • 1 each deep dish pizza dough recipe
  • 9 ounces smoked chicken thighs, shredded
  • 9 ounces roasted pork shoulder, shredded
  • 6 ounces your choice bbq sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • 3 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 ounces parmesan cheese, grated
  • 5 ounces pickles
  • 1/2 each small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced, for garnish


  • 1. Make deep dish pizza dough as directed.
  • 2. Preheat EGG to 350 degrees F using indirect heat.
  • 3. Grease a small disposable aluminum pan with melted butter, including the sides. Dump the dough into the pan and evenly spread.
  • 4. Build your pizza; evenly spread the bbq sauce, evenly distribute the smoked chicken, roasted pork, mozzarella cheese, pickles and red onions. Finish with evenly distributing the parmesan cheese.
  • 5. Bake pizza for 35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 210 degrees F and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the EGG and let sit for 5 minutes prior to cutting. Serve with a drizzling of bbq sauce and green onions.
