Alfredo Sauce

This rich alfredo sauce goes great with the grissini from steak class on 4/11 and 4/12.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

  • 1. Preheat the grill and a grilling basket to 400ºF using direct heat. Toss the artichokes in a little olive oil and grill until slightly charred.
  • 2. To prepare alfredo sauce: Heat heavy cream over low-medium heat in a deep saute pan. Add butter and whisk gently to melt. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Sprinkle in cheese and stir to incorporate. Season with freshly cracked black pepper.
