Roasted Mushrooms

Nutritional Information

Roasted mushrooms are a perfect match for a smoked ribeye.


  • 2 lbs. button or cremini mushrooms, washed, trimmed, and quartered
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 sprigs thyme or rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, chives, tarragon, or other fresh herbs


  • 1. Preheat Egg to 400ºF with cast iron grate for direct heat and cast iron pan or dutch oven. Clean mushrooms of any debris and remove stems if necessary. Grill mushrooms for approximately 5 minutes. Next, place mushrooms in cast iron pan with remaining ingredients and cook for another ten minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
