Cauliflower Steak

Nutritional Information

Grilling cauliflower gives it a slightly nutty flavor that really makes this dish.


  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 heads cauliflower, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan


  • 1. Preheat the Egg to 450ºF with cast iron grate for direct grilling. Quarter the heads of cauliflower keep the stem intact so that the florets don’t fall apart. Grill the cauliflower until charred on all sides. Place cauliflower on cutting board and remove the stem to separate the florets. Combine the first six ingredients in a bowl and toss with cauliflower. Place the cauliflower in pan and cover with aluminum foil. To finish, put the pan back on the grill and cook another 10-20 minutes. Garnish with parmesan and serve.
