Basic Arugula Salad

A light and flavorful salad for any occasion.


  • 4 oz. arugula
  • 4 oz. baby kale
  • 2 oz olive oil
  • kosher salt and pepper
  • 1 ea bulb fennel , halved
  • 1 ea. lemon, juiced and zested


  • 1. Grill fennel halves over direct heat until well charred. Remove the heart of the fennel and slice thin. Next toss arugula and baby kale with the fennel, lemon juice and zest, olive oil, and salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
