Ale Roasted Potatoes

Nutritional Information

An easy and flavorful side that goes great with ribs.


  • 5 lbs. russet potato, cut into equal sizes
  • 1 btl ale beer
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 3 sprigs rosemary, chopped
  • 1 whole shallot, minced
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper foil


  • 1. Preheat Egg to 450ºF with cast iron grate for direct grilling.
  • 2. Combine all ingredients except potatoes and mix until well blended
  • 3. Slice potatoes 1/4” thick and place in water to rinse until ready to grill
  • 4. Grill potatoes until you get marks on both sides.
  • 5. Place potatoes and beer mixture in baking pan and cover with foil. Next place the pan on the Egg and finish cooking. About 10-15 minutes
