A soft and airy crust for your favorite pie.
Ingredients
- 12 ounces 00 flour
- 4 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 tsp. instant yeast
- 6 1/2 ounces warm water (105 degrees)
Method
- Combine flour, salt, and yeast in a large bowl and whisk until well combined. Add water and incorporate into flour using hands until no dry flour remains on bottom of bowl. Cover bowl tightly with plastic wrap and allow to rise at room temperature for 2 to 4 hours.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and allow to sit at room temperature for 2 hours before baking.
- On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick and a 10 inch diameter. Lightly dust a pizza paddle or unrimmed baking sheet with cornmeal and place the dough on top. Top as you like, cook and enjoy!
